about models

I was thinking about how we find our passions. It's either a matter of luck, personal seeking or models. Lately, I have discovered that I had missed getting inspiration from the people around me. I must admit descovering models in the ones you meet is like taking a deep breath of fresh air. Of course, "modelling" the others also offers a good feeling. But as we are continously improving humans, being inspired, encouraged or just amazed by special people we meet throughout our lives gives a unique sensation - it's like regaining wings or a special form of self-fullfilment.

Lately, I have met two or three persons who decisively helped me in refinding the passions I forgot about. I have started working on the master thesis - reading a lot and looking for a feasible and interesting approach of recent developments in capital flows & global imbalances. I have an intense feeling of redescovering my old passion of breathlessly reading...
